§ Privacy

    Privacy policy.

Australian Longevity Group ("the practice", "we") handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Health information collected during the course of clinical care is also handled in accordance with the relevant state or territory health records legislation.

    What we collect

Through the booking and contact forms, the practice collects: name, email, phone (optional), free-text notes provided by the patient, and the date and time of any booking. During a consultation, additional clinical information may be discussed and recorded with consent.

    Why we collect it

To provide the requested service (booking, session delivery, follow-up), to send confirmations and reminders, to deliver requested educational material, and — where consent is given — to send periodic notes and briefings.

    Third parties

Information is processed by the following service providers, each of which has its own privacy practices:

    • Stripe (payment processing) — payment card data is handled directly by Stripe; the practice does not store card details.
    • Supabase (booking and form database, edge functions) — patient data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
    • Google (Gmail for booking confirmations and clinic correspondence; Google Calendar and Google Meet for telehealth sessions).

    Cross-border disclosure

Some of the service providers above process or store data on infrastructure located outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the site or booking a session, you consent to your information being processed in these jurisdictions under Australian Privacy Principle 8.

    Retention

Clinical records are retained in accordance with state-based health records legislation — generally a minimum of seven years from the last consultation for adult patients, and until the patient turns twenty-five for records relating to a child. Non-clinical contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

    Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information the practice holds about you by emailing info@australianlongevitygroup.com.

    Complaints

Privacy-related complaints can be raised directly with the practice in the first instance. If unresolved, complaints may be referred to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

    Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is the one published on this page.
