Why diagnostics before the consultation?+
A serious preventive plan rests on real data. Bloods and a DEXA scan give an objective view of cardiometabolic risk, hormonal status, body composition, and bone density — the foundations that any thoughtful longevity plan is built on.
What is included in the pathway fee?+
The consultation with Dr Nik and the interpretation of your bloods and DEXA results, plus the written plan that follows. Pathology and imaging are paid directly to those providers and are not included.
What will pathology and DEXA cost me?+
Costs vary by provider and location. In Australia, pathology is typically modest — usually under one hundred dollars out-of-pocket. A private DEXA scan generally runs a few hundred. Dr Nik will recommend reputable providers.
How does the sequence work?+
Pay the pathway fee · complete the confidential intake form · receive your pathology and DEXA referrals by email · arrange the tests at your convenience · email the practice once your results are back · a private booking link is issued to pick your consultation time.
Is the consultation telehealth or in person?+
Telehealth, secured. Available across Australia.
How are referrals into other specialists handled?+
When a specialist or allied-health input is warranted, Dr Nik refers into a hand-picked network across Australia.
What happens after the first consultation?+
Existing patients can book a focused check-in at any point to review progress, refine the plan, and address new questions. Use the same email address as your initial booking.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?+
The fee is refundable, less a small administrative charge, if no work has been performed. Once referrals have been issued or results reviewed, the fee is non-refundable. Booked consultation slots may be rescheduled with twenty-four hours' notice.
